That’s why we spoke to the systems administrator at OZ Minerals’ Prominent Hill site, to discuss how they can improve and lead the way with their workforce and environmental management.
When asked about the software they were using to manage their workforce and environment, they outlined that they had individual spreadsheets/software in place for:
- Flight and accommodation requirements
- Risk and environmental management
- Training requirements
- Stakeholder communications
Yet keeping personnel records in each system up to date was a challenge with the multiple systems, and required a separate System Administrator for each.
