Originally qualified as a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), Garry decided that the IT industry posed more of a challenge and provided more opportunity. He undertook studies in computing and marketing while working for a computer manufacturer, then started his own consulting business in the late 1970s.
Garry is a fellow of the Institute of Management and an advocate of professional management development and training. In the 40 years Garry has been in the IT industry, he has been involved in the development of hundreds of computer applications.
Anna is a senior investment professional with a combined corporate and financial services background spanning over two decades. As a Principal with Tanarra Group, Anna heads up the WA office for Tanarra and participates as a member of the Tanarra Investment Committee.
Prior to Tanarra, Anna served in executive roles at Fortescue Ltd (ASX: FMG) and investment banking and capital markets roles at JPMorgan and Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York.
Anna currently sits on several private company boards, is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University, Western Australia.
Louise is the founder of the MiPlan mining software company and was awarded EY Western Australia Entrepreneur of the Year in 2017.
She has designed and delivered software to a global user base and has extensive experience in the software industry. Louise brings expertise in product development, delivery and support, as well as financial and strategic planning.
Louise holds a Bachelor of Commerce (IT and ECommerce). She is ITIL certified, a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a mentor to several start-ups.
Maja is the Head of Private Equity for Tanarra Capital. She started her career in 2000 in investment banking at Citigroup and later moved to Merrill Lynch, covering companies in technology, finance and payment processing.
In 2006, Maja joined private equity with Sun Capital where she focused on operational turnaround opportunities. She later transitioned to public sector money management, first with JPMorgan and later Destrier Capital.
Maja sits on several private company boards. She holds a Bachelors dual-degree in Economics and Computer Science Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and The Wharton School, and an MBA from The Wharton School.
