The Control Class and Action Type settings has been moved from the Event Workflow configuration, to the Event Types Action Details administration page, to be aligned with all other action configurations. Both fields can be set to display or mandatory per event type.

    INX Software - What's New - Version 5.7 - INX InControl - Action Configuration

Prior to Version 5.7 a submitter could pick any workgroup value in the company level selector, this caused confusion and the ability to assign events to the wrong workgroup.
Company level consolidation restricts what a user can see in the company level selector and is set via the person profile. A person with editor security and above has the ability to edit this field. This is not a new function for INX InControl, it just wasn’t applied to the workgroup selector in events.

A setting has been added to the Site details administration page to turn this feature on or off. Clients already using this function can continue to do so by leaving this filter off.

A new feature has been applied to the event submission process for events when working offline, allowing automatic submission when connectivity has been restored.

Previously users would have to wait until they were back in range and manually submit each event through to INX InControl.

Users now can hit submit when the event is offline and once connectivity has been restored events will be pushed through to INX InControl.

    INX Software - What's New - Version 5.7 - INX InControl Mobile

Events that are waiting to by automatically processed will have an orange waiting status applied until connectivity has been restored.

If an event fails the automatic upload because of missing or invalid data the app will advise the user upon returning to connection or on entry into the application.

    INX Software - What's New - Version 5.7 - INX InControl Mobile

Events that fail the auto submission will have a red error status applied until a user takes action to fix the event and re-submit.

Functionality available from Version 1.0.9 of the mobile application and Version 5.7 of the web application.

Checklist response options defaulted to a button when there were three options or less. This logic worked in most cases except for when one of those responses had a long response option.

The app has been changed to dynamically display response based on the screen size of the device to either buttons or a picker option.INX Software - What's New - Version 5.7 - INX InControl Mobile

In response to feedback from the INX InFlight user group this version has some added features to improve the cleaning management capability.

    INX Software - What's New - Version 5.7 - INX InFlight

When a traveller is checked in to a room in INX InFlight, the room will automatically be set to ‘not clean’.

The addition of group maintenance for rooms allows users to search for and select a group of rooms, and perform the following:

    • Add cleaning roster – this allows the user to choose a new cleaning roster for the selected rooms. The roster change can apply from a specific start date, or take effect when the next person arrives in the room (Use Arrival Date).

    INX Software - What's New - Version 5.7 - INX InFlight

    INX Software - What's New - Version 5.7 - INX InFlight

    • Set as clean – the selected rooms will all be set to clean.

Note: This feature is complemented by allowing users to search for rooms by cleaning date. For example, all rooms with a scheduled clean on the same date can be set to clean at the same time.

    • Set as not clean – the selected rooms will all be set to ‘not clean’. For example, when a group of rooms are showing as clean but have been occupied for a long time since they were last cleaned.

A brand-new feature for Version 5.7 will allow INX InFlight users to manage cleaning from a calendar view.

    INX Software - What's New - Version 5.7 - INX InFlight

When the calendar view is selected, users can:

    • See the clean status of all the rooms (green is clean)
    • See turnaround dates
    • Roll over missed cleans
    • Assign ad hoc cleans
    • Move or remove unnecessary cleans

Note: The calendar is particularly useful for managing cleaning schedules when combined with the new search by cleaning date: all cleans scheduled on a given date can now be managed in the same place.

When a new cleaning roster is added to a room, an end date will automatically be added to the old cleaning roster on the room details.

Only the currently assigned roster will display on the room details (the user can choose to view the history if they need to see previous cleaning rosters).

In Version 5.7 we took the opportunity to enhance the quality of the INX InFlight user experience.

When there is a variation to a scheduled flight, the flight number can now be updated. This variation shows as an icon on the Flights Table.

The roster preview (calendar) now displays above the Roster section so that users can easily refer to it.

    INX Software - What's New - Version 5.7 - INX InFlight

Users can now see the person and date of the roster day they selected, and navigation has been improved.

The roster preview now displays in the first section so that users can easily refer to it. The date the user has selected is highlighted, to better inform them of where they are on the page.

    INX Software - What's New - Version 5.7 - INX InFlight

The search section takes up less space so that users can view more rooms on a page. Some of the less frequently used search items are now available in an Advanced Search.

To make cost centres easier to find, the description now displays next to the cost centre name when searching/selecting:

    • Person Profile > Costing
    • Ad hoc Booking > Cost Centre

Finding report(s) is now easier with a new search field. Simply start typing and the reports will automatically filter without needing to select Enter. In addition, the search results will be grouped by headings, and the user can ‘Expand’ the results to display all reports.

We’ve made it more visible to users when fields are mandatory – this enhancement has been applied across the whole of INX InFlight.

In Version 5.7 we’ve introduced a new capability to our existing synchronisation from INX InFlight to Serko.

    Profile Custom Fields

Once a customer has confirmed their required profile custom fields with Serko, INX will add them to INX InFlight so that users can manage the fields together with the existing preferences.

    INX Software - What's New - Version 5.7 - INX InFlight

    • The profile custom fields will be included in the synchronisation with Serko.
    • The profile custom fields will be included in the existing audit log.

The Profile Validation screen has been updated to record a comment when a profile has been selected as rejected by a Site Contact or Administrator.
This comment is included on the notification that is sent to the user to alert them to the fact that their profile has been rejected and why. When a profile is rejected, the profile is removed from the screen.

The profile photo is now displayed on the Profile Validation screen, giving Site Contacts and Administrators the ability to view the uploaded file without leaving the page.

The photo can be opened and if it does not meet requirements, a comment can be recorded and the photo rejected. This comment will be sent to the user to alert them to the fact that the photo has been rejected and why. The next time the user logs in to INX +LMS, they will be prompted to upload a new photo before proceeding.

When a photo is rejected, the photo is deleted and the profile remains on the Profile Validation screen.

The archive process within INX +LMS has been updated so that course completions have been transferred to INX are removed from INX +LMS each night, allowing immediate re-enrolment.

This allows users to be re-enrolled in courses where the compliance or competency expiry period is less than the Expiry Warning Days.

INX InHealth can now integrate occupational hygiene related activity with external laboratories. Following a similar model to our environmental module, INX InViron, and INX InHealth can now generate a digital COC and automatically upload lab results once they are returned to the client. Upon import, the tool will also issue notifications to alert users as to how the system has processed the results and the outcome of the import.

The INX InHealth Version 5.6 release saw the launch of a new Health Monitoring Register, designed to manage all health-related tests separately to consultations. As part of this Version 5.7 release, we have introduced new changes to improve navigation between tests and allow users to complete tests in bulk, in an easier fashion.

INX InHealth has a very granular and flexible security model. As part of this release, we conducted a thorough review of the security in place to ensure that the roles were clearly defined and consistent throughout all functions and screens within the system.

As part of the lab integration project, some changes were made to the occupational hygiene related data fields to better manage numeric fields and functions associated with unit of measure, precision and visibility of the less than symbol throughout the UI.

Version 5.6 of INX +Process allows the Single Sign-On is now available for INX InNovate.

The INX InForm Outlook application has been updated to enhance performance when deployed into large email accounts and to improve obligations visibility and handling of dates from the core module.
