SubscribeAligned INX+BI dates with INX Core time zones and corrected the Responsible Person for Event Actions
Available from 15 May 2024
New features
Aligned INX+BI dates with INX Core time zones
To ensure consistency, INX+BI dates now match the time zone of INX Core, typically set to Australian Western Standard Time (UTC+8) for most hosted servers, with variations for dedicated hosting. To provide clarity and flexibility, the time zone name and offset from UTC (in minutes) are now accessible in the analytical view vw_BI_MetaDataDatabase, enabling you to convert between time zones easily.
Fixes
Consistent spelling in tables
We have introduced a standardised naming system to ensure consistent spelling in the tables and field names. We have removed the additional underscores in the table Dim_CCP_Prerequisite_Status and those found in the two non-standard field names, which now read as [PR_PrereqStatusId] and [PR_PrereqStatus].
In the table Dim_EventParticipant we have updated the non-standard field name by adding the missing ‘E’ prefix, now reflected as [EPE_EmploymentClassDescription], and in the table Fact_PersonRoleCCPStatus we have removed the space from the field name [FR_Date Id], updating it to [FR_DateId].
The Analytics Layer views have also been updated and will now display these new names.
Corrected the Responsible Person for Event Actions
For Event Actions, INX Core now supports selecting a Responsible Person from existing profiles or entering a free-text name. Previously, INX+BI used the free-text names, which may not have matched the dim_Person table data. We have updated this to use the selected person, allowing seamless joining with the dim_Person table and providing access to additional details.
