Comments and Reference ID Fields Removed After Assessment Is Synced from Assessor

Comments and Reference ID values on a person’s competency record, often used to trace Moodle course completions, could be cleared when a related assessment was synced from Assessor, specifically when the Moodle course was completed first. This risked the loss of important completion evidence. These fields are now retained correctly, regardless of the order in which the theory and practical components are completed.

Person Not Re-Enrolled in Moodle Course Despite Competency Flagged as Renewed

People whose competency had multiple elements and was marked as renewed were not being re-enrolled into the linked Moodle course, even though training was still outstanding. This left affected staff without access to required training, despite their records showing the renewal had occurred. Re-enrolment now triggers correctly for renewed competencies with multiple elements, so affected people regain course access as expected.

Competency Element Behaviour for Competencies Processed via +Process Mobilisation

Previous behaviour: renewing a competency through mobilisation set the record to the default Competent level, even though no assessment had taken place, and the record held no element detail.

New behaviour: the renewed record retains its previous level (for mobilisation-created records this is usually the configured default entry level, e.g. Aware) and lists its elements as outstanding. The level is promoted when the elements are assessed by an assessor, a training event result, or an integrated training outcome; exactly as on every other pathway.

Why: a Competent level now always reflects recorded assessment evidence. Previously, repeated mobilisations could maintain a Competent status indefinitely without any assessment on record.

Impact and action: personnel re-mobilised after upgrading will show the entry-level status instead of Competent until their elements are assessed. This is visible on the person’s competency records, the capability matrix, and compliance views. To restore a Competent level, assess the outstanding elements or deliver the relevant training. Records created before the upgrade are not modified.
