Web Application – SAM Room Type Integration
Room Type information is now automatically synced from SAM Suite into ACA, displaying on both the Workloading page and the tablet application. Room Types such as B2B, Couple, and Hotel are visible to Housekeeping teams and update in ACA whenever they are changed in SAM, keeping information consistent across both systems. This provides Housekeeping Supervisors with clearer context when scheduling and assigning cleans.
Web Application – Return to Room Status on the Schedules Page
The Schedules page now displays a “Return to Room” symbol against rooms that have been marked with that status by a cleaner, replacing the previous tick icon for those rooms. This gives Housekeeping Supervisors a more accurate, real-time view of cleaning progress directly on the Schedules page, consistent with how status is shown on the Cleaning Progress page. Once a cleaner updates a Return to Room room to complete, the symbol is automatically replaced with the standard completion tick.
Web Application – Rank Information on Cleaning Results
The Cleaning Results page now displays a Rank column against each room. This allows Housekeeping Supervisors to quickly identify the rank assigned to a room during a clean when investigating cleaning performance, without needing to cross-reference other reports.
Web Application – SAM-Completed Rooms on the Progress Report
Rooms updated to Complete clean status directly in SAM Suite – for example, when a QR code is damaged or missing – are now shown on the In Progress report in a distinct shade of green. Hovering over the room displays a tooltip confirming it was marked complete via SAM. This reduces discrepancies between the Schedules page, Workloading page, and Progress reporting, giving Housekeeping Supervisors a consistent and accurate picture of cleaning performance.
Web Application – Periodical Task Start Date Import
A new import capability has been introduced to support the configuration of periodical cleaning task start dates. This allows periodical tasks to be set up with accurate historical last-cleaned dates for each room, ensuring periodical scheduling reflects the correct cleaning history from the point of configuration.
