New features
Web application – View your cleaner’s current location on the Progress screen
You can now see which room your cleaner is currently in, directly on the Progress screen. A blue chevron icon will appear to indicate the cleaner’s current location—this means they’ve scanned the QR code in that room.

Web application – Room Type icons now available in Workloading
We’ve introduced a new feature that allows room type icons to be displayed in the Workloading view. Room types, representing different accommodation attributes, can now be visually identified using icons like those used for tasks. This enhancement provides a more intuitive way to distinguish room types. To enable this new feature, please contact Quartex Support and specify the sites where you’d like it activated.
Once enabled, Client Admin users can assign icons to room types by navigating to the Distribute menu and accessing the Weekly Schedule page. Each room type can be edited from this screen to assign a relevant icon. A library of preset icons is available for selection, and if additional icons are required, a support ticket can be submitted to request custom icons.

This update enhances the clarity and usability of the Workloading view, enabling teams to quickly differentiate between standard areas during scheduling and task assignment.
Improvements
Web Application – Update to the Cleaning Results page
We’ve streamlined the Cleaning Results page by consolidating the Start Time, End Time, and Duration into a single column, creating a cleaner and more intuitive view. The Export Data report has also been updated to reflect this change, with Start and End Times now combined into one column, while the Duration remains in a separate column to preserve reporting clarity.

Web Application – Update to the Clean Type Display on the Schedule page
We’ve updated the way Clean Types are displayed on the Schedule page to improve clarity and readability.
Previously, all clean types were represented by single-letter codes within a row, and the allocated clean type for each room was highlighted. With this update, the clean type selection has been replaced by a two-character code that clearly represents the allocated clean type only, reducing visual clutter and making it easier to identify the assigned clean type at a glance.
This enhancement streamlines the schedule view and supports faster, more accurate interpretation for operational users.

Web Application – Permission for Periodical Management
Client Admin users have been granted enhanced capabilities to manage periodical cleaning tasks. This is now accessible via the Distribute > Weekly Schedule menu with a new edit icon displayed on the Standard tasks.

The purpose of this update is to empower Client Admins to self-manage key aspects of their cleaning schedules.

Client Admins now have full control over the configuration and maintenance of their periodical cleaning schedules.
Site Admins can add pre-configured periodicals to the workload, retain read-only access for reporting purposes and cannot make changes to periodicals.
