Carrier Booking Export Enhancements

The Carrier Booking Excel export has been improved to include Date and Flight Code columns, providing users with more complete booking information in exported spreadsheets.

This improvement delivers a more useful and streamlined Excel export experience, helping users access the information they need faster and reducing the need for manual cross-referencing.

Event Management – Special Characters Now Allowed in Event Names

SAM Administrators can now use standard keyboard special characters (such as *, #, and -) when creating or editing Event Names in Event Management.

Previously, Event Names were restricted by validation rules that prevented the use of special characters, limiting flexibility for categorisation, priority indicators, and established naming conventions.

Now users can create and update Event Names with special characters, making it easier to organise, identify, and manage events using meaningful naming standards.

This enhancement provides greater naming flexibility, improves consistency across systems, and reduces the need for workarounds when organising and identifying events.

Fixes

SRF335 – SAM Core Data Report “ALL” Data Type Filter Issue Resolved

An issue has been resolved where the SRF335 – SAM Core Data Report would fail when the /dt (data type) criteria was set to ALL.

The report now correctly returns all datasheets when ALL is selected, matching the existing behaviour when the criteria is left blank and ensuring consistent report results.

Bulk Room Move Auto Pick Issue Resolved

An issue has been resolved where the Bulk Room Move Auto Pick function did not work consistently when importing large lists of people from an Excel file. Available rooms are now assigned correctly regardless of import size, ensuring reliable automatic room allocation during bulk room moves.

The import process has also been improved to provide a smoother user experience, and users will now receive an alert when attempting to import an unsupported file type instead of the import failing silently.

Q SAM Kiosk App – PNR Synchronisation Issue Resolved

An issue has been resolved where manually entered PNR numbers (Booking references) against flights in SAM were not reliably synchronising to the worker’s Q SAM Kiosk mobile app.

PNR details now sync successfully for multi-sector transport bookings, ensuring workers receive their booking reference without extended delays.

Workflow Roster Itinerary Attachment Issue Resolved

An issue has been resolved where PDF travel itineraries attached to confirmed Workflow roster email notification displayed only the first IN/OUT swing within the roster period.

All swings are now included in the itinerary attachment, ensuring complete and accurate travel information is provided for roster approvals.

Bulk Profile Update Group Field Clearing Issue Resolved

An issue has been resolved where the Bulk Profile Update feature did not correctly clear group-type fields, such as Priority Category, when blank values were provided in the upload spreadsheet.

Group fields can now be cleared successfully during bulk updates, ensuring profile information is updated accurately as intended.

Bulk Room Move Original Booking Filter Issue Resolved

We have identified and resolved an issue where filtering by the Original Booking column on the Bulk Room Move page redirected users to the SAM error page instead of displaying the filtered results.

The filter now works as expected, allowing users to successfully view filtered results without interruption.

Workflow Group Travel Request Re-Submission Update

Requestors can now edit, save, and submit travel requests originally submitted by another member of their Workflow Group.

Tooltips have been added to clarify Save and Submit actions, and re-submitted requests now show as “Awaiting Approval by ” to improve workflow visibility.
