New features

 

Improved navigation when impersonating users in Workflow

We have added a new feature for users in Workflow to allow a seamless transition to impersonating a user via the Workflow Groups page.

SAM bookings prioritise clean rooms made for the same day

When SAM is configured with the parameters AutomaticallyPickRoom and UseAdvancedCleanDetails set to Y, the system will now prioritise and return available rooms marked as clean for new bookings made for the same day (i.e. today). This new feature enables greater flexibility and precision in your room assignments.

A summary of this functionality is as follows:

1. The system first searches for clean rooms linked to the traveller’s profile.
2. If no clean rooms are found, it searches for clean rooms based on the fill order configuration.
3. If no clean rooms are available for today, the system will default to any available room, maintaining the previous functionality.

Workflow request numbers are now visible in Workforce Kiosk app

We have introduced a new feature in the Workforce Kiosk App. Users will now see the associated workflow request number when a booking request is submitted using the Manage Bookings feature. This confirms that the request has been successfully created in the Workflow system and simplifies follow-ups for related queries.

Enhanced traveller profile visibility for check-ins

We have added a new visual indicator to the traveller’s profile V-card, making it easier to see when a traveller has been checked into their room on the day of arrival. This new feature assists SAM Administrators to confirm arrivals, helping to streamline their workflow processes quickly and minimises last-minute room changes that may impact bookings.

A summary of this functionality is as follows:

1. The indicator will appear once the traveller is checked in via the Rooms | Accommodation Arrivals page.
2. Hovering over the indicator will display the check-in time as a tooltip.
3. This then becomes visible in SAM and for the Final Approver in Workflow.

Improvements

 

Enhanced keyword search for folio documents

We have improved the search functionality in Workflow. Keyword searches will now include results from Folio documents, helping you quickly locate details entered by requestors in the unformatted text fields of Folio documents directly from your task panel.

Enhanced audit transparency for Group Bookings

SAM users can now access comprehensive audit details for Group Bookings by searching using the format [GroupBookingID:*****] and specifying the unique ID number. This improvement provides a detailed history of the Group Booking, including the date of creation, updates to Master Details, and changes to room allocations; enabling more transparency and traceability when managing your Group Bookings.

Failed bookings count added to the Carrier Bookings page

The Carrier Bookings page now includes a count of failed bookings for each flight, making it easier to quickly identify flights with the highest number of failed bookings and prioritise corrective actions accordingly.

Edit Group Booking master fields more efficiently

We’ve enhanced the Group Booking page by enabling users to edit Group Booking master fields directly from the details page. This update provides a more seamless and efficient way to manage group bookings when viewing booking details.

Simplified profile changes with default to “ALL” value

We have enhanced the system to automatically set the “from” value to “ALL” when making profile changes for employer, department, position, or cost code. This improvement ensures smoother updates to profile attributes, eliminating the need for users to manually select “ALL” and ensuring profiles are updated correctly.

Enhanced Transport No Show page for easier booking management

For a more user-friendly experience, we have improved the display results in the Transport No Shows page by streamlining the search options and making it easier to track and manage Transport No Show. The dropdown values and search functionality are now optimised as follows:

• Active Bookings (Default Value)
  • Return all passengers booked on a flight today who have not yet been marked as “No show”.
• Active No shows
  • Return all passengers already been marked as “No Show” and bookings have not been cancelled.
• Full list (including existing No shows)
  • People yet to be marked as “No Show”
  • People who have already been marked as “No Show” and bookings have not been cancelled (i.e. “ACTIVE”)
• People who have already been marked as “No Show” and bookings have been cancelled

Improvement to the SRF118 report title

Users can now personalise their SRF118 Workflow KPI report with a title in the report criteria.

Consistent hyperlink behaviour for room numbers

To streamline navigation, we have enhanced the room links on the Cleaning Allocation page to ensure that clicking on a room number always opens the room page in a new browser tab.

Flight details now added to the Group Booking page

We have enhanced the Group Booking page to display transport codes for both reserved and confirmed bookings. This improvement provides users with immediate access to essential transport information.

Enhanced email address field in SAM

We have updated the email address field in SAM to prevent any leading or trailing whitespaces. This improvement ensures that email addresses are consistently formatted, allowing all integrations to process this data accurately.

Considered future room ownership during room assigning

We have enhanced SAM to ensure that confirmed Future Room Ownership is now accounted for when assigning a room. SAM will now consider any upcoming room ownership dates, preventing conflicts with assignments scheduled before the confirmed future ownership takes effect.

 

Fixes

 

SRF256 report now supports minimum nights of “0”

Users can now successfully run the SRF256 Resource Onsite By Duration report with the value of 0 for the minimum nights.

Streamlined bookings enabled for multiple locations with transport options

To help ensure a seamless booking process across your locations, enabling the parameter AllowBookingToOtherLocation = Y will no longer cause booking failures when attempting to make multiple bookings with transports arriving at a location different from the camp location.

Accurate data now displayed in Current Step and Current Status columns

We have resolved an issue that caused variations in the data displayed in the Current Step and Current Status columns. To help ensure consistency and reliability in your workflow tracking, these columns now accurately reflect the corresponding status shown in the Workflow Task Panel.
