Dean Jacobson

Prior to joining Accel-KKR, Dean was a Vice President with Summit Partners where he was involved in private equity investments in the technology and financial services sectors. Prior to Summit, Dean worked as a Director of Corporate Development at Vonage. Before Vonage, Dean was an Associate Director at 3i, a leading global private equity firm where he focused on the firm’s later-stage technology investing practice in the United States. Dean started his career in the technology investment banking group at Robertson Stephens.

Previously, Scotty has been involved in the firm’s investments in FM:Systems (sold to Johnson Controls (NYSE:JCI) in 2023), Seequent (sold to Bentley Systems (NASD: BSY) in 2021), TrueCommerce (sold to Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe in 2020), Oildex (sold to Drillinginfo in 2018) and HighJump (sold to Körber AG in 2017). Prior to joining Accel-KKR, Scotty was in the diversified industries group at J.P. Morgan in Chicago. While at J.P. Morgan, Scotty was involved in M&A, capital raising and corporate strategy engagements for customers across the basic materials and automotive sectors.

Prior to joining Accel-KKR, Andy worked with Peak Rock Capital and the Gores Group focused on control investments across a variety of industries, including the technology, business services and industrial sectors. Previously, Andy worked with Technology Crossover Ventures focused on sourcing, evaluating and executing late stage growth equity investments in leading software and technology infrastructure companies. Andy started his career in the technology investment banking group of J.P. Morgan in San Francisco.

Brooks Robinson

Prior to joining Accel-KKR, Brooks was an Operating Advisor working with portfolio companies of technology-focused private equity firms to accelerate go-to-market. From 2000 to 2021, he held leadership positions (including Co-founder, Board Director, CEO, President, CRO, and CMO) at companies in B2B SaaS, eCommerce enablement, and IT applications. Over the course of his operating career, he built strategic partnerships with Adobe (Magento), Cisco, Microsoft, Shopify, and others. Brooks was a co-founder of Cbeyond where he led the sales, marketing, partnership, and product management teams as well as the company’s M&A activity. Over the course of his 11-year tenure, Cbeyond grew annual revenue from $0 to $110 million in the first 4 years, achieved $1.2 billion enterprise value post IPO and reached $480 million in annual revenue.
